Tracy & Alex Wedding

Before I get to more images from Tracy & Alex’s wonder-licious wedding, I have to say that this was a great way to start the year for me. Everything felt so fresh after having a few months off from shooting weddings, I had a really great time, and I’m now officially PUMPED and looking forward to the rest of the season.

As for the images, I’ll just post a few more faves here on the blog, and for you curious folks…..

…here’s a slideshow of how I saw the day through my lens :-)

Let’s see those comments! I know you’re out there.

Before I end, I’ll post an image from their cool photobooth courtesy of www.partybooths.com. No, I’m not associated with them… but yes, this is really kind of how I look at weddings :-)

Thanks again Tracy & Alex!

Tracy & Alex Preview

I haven’t had a chance to really dig into the images from Tracy & Alex’s wedding this past Saturday, but as I went through the initial edit this image really stood out for me. What do you think?

Sorry for the teaser :-)

I’ll definitely have more soon so stay tuned…

… and thanks Tracy & Alex!

Still Here

I realize I haven’t posted in a while, but trust me I’m still here :-)

While I’ve had a break from shooting weddings over the winter, I’ve been busy with meetings/bookings, shooting some non-wedding things, album design, and a few other business related items. I’ll try posting more updates as I get some time.

Also, I’m excited that the 2008 wedding season officially kicks off for me next weekend… I can’t wait!

Anyway… just to fill in some space for now, here’s a random, recent photo of my tired dog…

New Albums

One thing I’ve been working on this winter is researching, designing and developing super new album options to showcase all my clients’ wedding images. I just got in a new sample flush mount book from a fantastic new company that I’m really excited to be working with. These are available with various cover options from traditional/basic black leather to more contemporary/hip/classy/exotic materials, color combinations and designs. There’s so many cool options to personalize your family heirloom, it might make your head spin… but in a good way, I promise :-)

I’ve already got more samples on the way, but here’s some pics to give you a peek at what the first one looks like…

Real leather covers, archival prints, solid/professional binding, and flush mounted pages that lay flat when the book is open.

Tracy & Alex Engagement

Here’s a few favorites from Tracy & Alex’s e-session. Aren’t they a cute couple :-) I can’t wait to see these two all dressed up in their wedding atire.

Thanks Tracy & Alex!

They also brought along Luna, their little Westie…

Last week, Ambrose & Eugene were visiting the Bay Area for the holidays and took time out to meet with me and to shoot their engagement session. I love the fact that they found me online even though they were over 2000 miles away in Indiana. I’ve been receiving a handful of inquiries from people outside the Bay Area lately. Their wedding will be local, but FYI… I’m also glad to travel and shoot weddings just about anywhere on the planet.

Here’s a few favorites from their shoot. I love the colors they chose to wear!

I think this next one’s gonna look great when printed BIG…

Kristina Bridal

Yesterday I went out with my friend and fellow photographer Julie Weisberg to have some fun shooting an off-season “bridal” shoot with Kristina who was cool enough to dress up and be our bride for the afternoon.

It was a great chance to break out my lights and just play a little. Normally, I really love just using natural light for portraits, but sometimes creating your own light can be great as well… and a lot of fun.

Thanks Julie & Kristina!
